In Denmark, as in many other places, there is political debate about how many refugees we must take, and how to treat them when they came to Denmark. It is a political issue, but it is a fact that the refugees knocking on our door. In this context, the Danish Library Association describes the of libraries important for a successful integration and emphasizes it in a press release where they welcome the refugees . The Danish public libraries have a long and proud tradition of being open to everyone. And of course the libraries also welcome the Syrian refugees that enter Denmark at the mo ment. The Danish public libraries offers a lot of activities for kids as well as for adults, but most importantly; everybody is welcome at the libraries.
